Frank Moloto kicks off the Frank Moloto Development League in Kgapane
Last week, Bolobedu made history when it launched its first-ever junior league at Kgapane stadium.
The league, named Frank Moloto Development League, is exclusively for boys aged between 13 and 15 years. The first round of matches comprised eight games, starting with the under 13 boys.
In the opening game, Tshepo Academy won convincingly against Goal Busters of Mamphakhathi, with a score of 11-0. In the second game, Ramohlala Academy based in Ŕapitsi, won their match 3-2 against a tough Mamkhize. Mashona and Mokwasele also recorded victories of 2-1 and 4-2 respectively in the third and fourth games against Mighty Boys of Mozinoni and Life Academy.
The standard of games was raised even higher in the under-15 matches. Tshepo Academy continued their excellent performance in the under-15 category with an 8-1 victory against Goal Busters in their first game. Ramohlala u15, unlike their under-13, put up a great defense against Mamkhize and won 3-0, securing a clean sheet.
Kgapane-based Mashona also had a convincing 3-0 win over Mighty Boys FC while Mokwasele Young Killers humbled Life Academy of Malematsa with a 4-0 victory. This weekend, all games will take place at Mozinoni village Bolobedu from 08h00 in the morning. Below are the full results:
