Lehlohonolo Motsiyo, a 24-year-old beauty from Daniel Rabalela, is poised to make a lasting impression at the Miss South Africa Heritage pageant.
As a Top-20 finalist, Motsiyo exudes confidence, convinced that she has what it takes to claim the grand prize at the pageant’s finale in Soweto on December 14.
Motsiyo’s passion for modelling ignited in high school, but it wasn’t until 2023 that her career gained momentum. With unwavering focus and determination, she established herself as a force to be reckoned with in the modelling world. However, her journey has not been without its challenges, as she navigated the complexities of balancing her modelling career with her academic pursuits.
A true beauty with brains, Motsiyo is pursuing a BA degree in crime and psychology at the University of Limpopo. Despite the obstacles, she persevered, achieving remarkable success. Her accolades include being crowned 1st Princess in a competition featuring 500 models and Miss Extraordinary in another competition with 800 models.
Motsiyo attributes her success to her unwavering positivity and confidence. She draws inspiration from the scripture, “When the time is right, I the Lord, will make it happen.” This mantra has enabled her to stay focused and motivated, even in the face of adversity.
Motsiyo’s journey to self-discovery and confidence has been marked by resilience. Having faced bullying in the past, she emerged stronger, crediting Ndavi Nokeri’s 2022 win as a catalyst for her own pursuit of dreams.
Beyond her modelling career, Motsiyo is dedicated to giving back, she founded an organization providing food parcels and clothing to underprivileged students at her university.
With the unwavering support of her loving family, Motsiyo is poised to captivate the audience at the Miss South Africa Heritage pageant. Her determination, confidence, and compassion make her an exceptional candidate for the crown.
