The African National Congress (ANC) Limpopo this afternoon engages with the Former president Thabo Mbeki.

The ANC Limpopo delegation will be led by the ANC provincial secretary Reuben Madadzhe, who will be accompanied by all regional secretaries.

The meeting with former President is part of ANC Limpopo’s commitments to engage with former presidents on issues affecting the ANC and the state, according to the statement issued by Madadzhe.

Limpopo ANC meeting with Mbeki is one in many such engagements with provincial executive committees by the former president. Kwa Zulu-Natal is one of the first provinces to make a pilgrimage to the Thabo Mbeki Foundation in Johannesburg.

Limpopo meets Mbeki in the background of recent public attacks on president Cyril Ramaphosa by former presidents Mbeki and Zuma.
