Erstwhile Nkowankowa Continental team manager Tsholofelo Bulala has joined ABC Motsepe league side Giyani Happy Boys as an administrator.
The dynamic leader together with her former colleague Peace Khosa recently resigned from the newly promoted Nkowankowa based side allegedly due to poor management of the club.
Bulala is an experienced football administrator of note. She was an active member of the University of Pretoria “Amatuks” admiration team before returning back home to establish a youth soccer development league in Giyani in 2021.
The league is an affiliate of the South African Football Association (SAFA) and has a total of 36 affiliated youth development teams. It caters for the Under 13, Under 15 and Under 17 boys.
The Nkowankowa resident was also part of a professional team that successfully organized the first ever international grannies world soccer tournament held in Nkowankowa and Tzaneen.
The tournament was the initiative of the famous, Mama Bheka Ntsanwisi Foundation of which Bulala is one of the directors. Her wealth of experience and professionalism will come in handy for the ambitious Giyani side who are obviously aiming for promotion this season after missing out on a playoff spot the previous season.
Meanwhile, Giyani Happy Boys Mentor Mpho Maleka has praised his club’s decision to employ a professional administrator to run the club this season. The Nedbank Cup winning coach with Marumo Gallants said he was impressed by the club’s decision to employ Bulala as administrator in preparation for the National First Division.
Maleka said most clubs make a mistake of waiting until they are in the NFD before making a professional set up. “I am glad my team has taken a step to run the club more professionally. The message is clear, we are going for promotion this season,” he said.
