Josy United star midfielder Lenox “Sim2” Chavalala is expected to team up with his brother Levice “Sim 1” Chavalala to destroy Joppie All Blacks this weekend.

Hollywood bets side, Josy United FC exerted their dominance over their arch rivals and ABC Motsepe league side Winnerspark FC with a 3-2 victory on penalties in the Runnymade Cluster top 16 Mega Tournament held at Jamela Sports ground last weekend.

This was the two sides’s second meeting in tournament football wherein Josy emerged winners on both occasions. The Jamela based side had won 2-1 in normal game time in their first meeting at Winnerspark’s  Bellevue grounds about two weeks ago. Both sides fought pound for pound but missed great scoring chances. The game ended in a 0-0 stalemate. 

Meanwhile, ABC Motsepe league rookies Nkowankowa Continental got an upset of their lives when they lost 2-1 to Bellevue All Stars in the first game of the tournament.

The Nkowankowa based side were expected to cruise in to the last eight with ease. In the second game the much improved Rellen FC beat Nhlahla Northern Bucks 2-1 in the second game to book their place in the top eight.

The Senwamokgope based side has shown much improvement since the arrival of their new coach Isaac “Wacko” Senyolo. The ex Winnerspark legend brought shape and stability in to the club.

The third game saw a dangerous Runnymade side beat Khukwe 2-1 to advance to the quarterfinals. On Sunday a strong R81 team beat Babanana Mountain Tigers 3-0 in the first game.

Joppie All Blacks were the only side to win their game on penalties after failing to score against Super Aces in full time. They won 4-3. ABC Motsepe league newbie Maruleng Celtics won their game with a convincing 3-1 results while Abino All Stars surprised the charismatic Tzaneen United with a narrow 1-0 victory.

The fixture for this weekend is as follows: (Saturday) R81 vs Runnymade 09h45, Bellevue All Stars vs Rellen FC 11h45, Maruleng Celtics vs Abino All Stars 13h45, Josy United vs Joppie All Blacks 15h45. Finals will take place on Sunday.
