A Tzaneen Police Sergeant finished third in the 10 kilometers category of Soweto Marathon on Sunday.
Sergeant Hlamalani Masomo received a bronze medal for her efforts. Her colleagues, also sergeants, Musa Masabana, Viola Morena and Amu Malungani successfully completed the 21 km division of the marathon and received medals.
The Tzaneen Police Station management commended the officers for their efforts and for flying the South African Police Services flag high.
The management believe that other members will be encourage to lead a healthy lifestyle by their colleagues.
