Premier Chupu Stanley Mathabatha will join scores of South Africans in commemorating the 35th annual World AIDS Day at Mahela Farm in Greater Tzaneen Municipality.
He will lead the EXCO delegation and address masses under the theme: “Let Communities Lead” on the 1st December 2023.
The theme is a clarion call to invest in and strengthen community-led interventions and community centred approach in the management of HIV. Community members are urged to adhere to treatment in order to suppress the viral load and lessen chances of transmitting HIV. Government in its National Strategic Plan aims and continues to provide free medication, training, create awareness and psycho-social support in pursuit of eradicating the scourge of HIV, Tuberculosis (TB), Sexually Transmitter Infections (STI) and other diseases related to AIDS.
