Former Black Leopards and Winnerspark attacking midfielder Selby Rapatsa has been in the books of Giyani-based Emmanuel FC but not in their best eleven.

The talented midfielder who recently won the Man of the Match award in the famous Phyli’s games in Gauteng Province has not had enough game time since joining his new ABC Motsepe league side about two months ago.

Selby was a regular last season for his former side Winnerspark scoring crucial games for them in important games. His current coach Musa “America” Nkondo has promised to give the Bolobedu-born midfielder a chance to play.

“I am the one who brought Rapatsa to Emmanuel and I also groomed him when he was eighteen years old. He is the first player I signed when I came back to Emmanuel because I know what he can.He understands my style of play and it’s only a matter of time I give him a chance to play and he will prove that he is one of the better players around” said the coach.

His team Emmanuel is currently on position two in the log standing. They stand a good chance of winning their stream should log leaders Mpheni Defenders slip. Last weekend they beat Mpheni 1-0 at home in Malamulele to narrow the points difference. Now they are trailing with only three points.
