With only four games left before the 20223/24 league season ends, it has now become clear which two teams will be relegated from the ABC Motsepe League this season.
In the tough stream A, Musina United, who are currently languishing at the bottom of the log with only seven points from 14 games will be relegated to the Hollywood bets league while stream B will relegate Moria-based Eleven Fast Tigers.
Tigers have only four points from 12 games and according to their recent results, they have no chance of escaping the chop. The same can be said of Musina United who have recently lost their coach to Giyani Happy Boys. As it stands only the two mentioned sides will be relegated.
However, there could be changes if a Limpopo side is relegated from the National First Division this season. Venda FC and Marumo Gallants are currently languishing in a dangerous relegation zone in the log standing. Gallants is currently second from the bottom with 20 points in 21 games while fourth from the bottom side, Venda FC is only two points more from the same number of games. Should the two sides get relegated the league will have to relegate a maximum of four clubs this season to accommodate the two sides while also creating space for the new teams from the Hollywood Bets league.
