Tzaneen United Star midfielder Lefa “Toy” Aphane has been invited to train with Premier Soccer League side Cape Town City this week.

The news were confirmed by team boss Dennus Mafologela last Saturday.

The talented 22 year-old who is a client of Triple M soccer agency has been with the Maruleng based side from their SAB league days and was a part of the team that got promoted to the ABC Motsepe League two seasons ago.

This season the dangerous attacking midfielder from Denilton played a pivotal role in his team’s unbeaten record and league victory creating and scoring important goals.

 “Toy” left Limpopo last Saturday and is expected to start training with “The Citizens” this week.  He will return to Limpopo with them this Sunday for their PSL game against Polokwane City at Peter Mokaba Stadium. Should the technically gifted player dazzle Coach Eric Tinkler with his magical skills, hundreds of his fans will get to watch him on TV in PSL games next season.
