Winnerspark legend Isaac “Wacko” Senyolo has become the third coach to leave the Bellevue based side this season.
He resigned on Saturday few hours before their important ABC Motsepe league game against Giyani Happy Boys. The 49 year-old mentor joined Winnerspark in January after the departure of highly qualified coach Abel Makhubela.
“Wacko” won his first game as head coach 2-1 away in Hoedspruit against Maruleng Celtic however Winnerspark appointed former Josy United mentor Shakes manyakalla afterwards as head coach and demoted him to the assistant coach position.
He later took over the position of head coach after Manyakalla’s resignation two months later. The Vodacom League winner with Winnerspark as a player in 2001/2 season said he decided not to continue coaching the club due to what he calls an unfair treatment from the management.
“I didn’t appreciate the way I was being treated by the management, particularly when they were doing it in front of the players” he said. However, team boss Robert Mokgola said he was surprised and disappointed to hear that the coach left the club house in the morning of the match day” I didn’t fire him, he left at his own accord. I was actually planning to work with him even in the coming season” he said.
Mokgola hinted on the possibility of hiring a new coach for the remaining three games. Meanwhile coach less Winnerspark continued their dominance over Giyani Happy Boys with a 2-0 victory last Saturday at Westfalia ground. Their two goals were scored by their experienced striker Koporal Moati.
In the first round Winnerspark won 3-0 away at Xikokwana Stadium in Giyani. The victory on Saturday moved them away from the dangerous relegation quagmire to fourth place in the log standing.
