Giyani Happy Boys FC

Giyani Happy Boys, who were the runners-up in their stream last season, find themselves in a relegation quagmire this season.
Despite this, their coach, Timmy Mashele, believes that his inexperienced team will survive relegation. The Giyani-based side lost the core of their squad last year in December and are currently in the second from bottom spot.
They have only three points more than Musina United, who are at the bottom of the log. To salvage their status, they need to win their remaining two home games against Munaca and Musina. However, even if they win these games, they could still face relegation. This is because if Marumo Gallants and Venda FC, the two Limpopo sides, get relegated from the Nation First Division, four teams will be relegated, two from each of the two streams, to create room for two teams from the Hollywoodbets league and two from NFD.
Marumo Gallants and Venda FC are currently occupying positions 14 and 15, with 26 and 24 points, respectively. Gallants are on equal points with the bottom of the log side Platinum City Rovers.
However, Mashele believes that both the Limpopo sides will avoid relegation. He said, “I believe they won’t be relegated. All we need to do is to win the remaining two home games, and we will survive.” Happy Boys will host Musina United this Saturday at Xikokwana Stadium.
