Emmanuel FC Chairperson Abel Maluleke.
Emmanuel owner Abel Maluleke has decided to sell his club after the South African Football Association (SAFA) announced that his case against Mpheni Defenders has been struck off the roll.
The bad news was announced to him by the SAFA Limpopo Chairperson, Jack Maluleke, today. Emmanuel expected SAFA to rule against Mpheni Defenders for fielding an ineligible player in their second-round league games.
According to Maluleke, the SAFA chairperson told him that they
decided to struck the case of the roll because it was lodged by a third party.
The decision would have resulted in Mpheni losing their playoff spot and being replaced by Emmanuel in tomorrow’s crucial provincial playoff at Oscar Mpetha Stadium at the University of Limpopo.
