Mopani Times is sponsoring a youth soccer tournament in Kgapane township this weekend.
The tournament is hosted by the Frank Moloto Development League in Bolobedu. Sixteen teams in the U15 and U17 categories will compete for the championship on Friday and Saturday.
The winners in both categories will receive a trophy, and the best player and goalkeeper of the tournament will also receive awards. Matome Maila, director of Mopani Times, expressed his delight to contribute to the development of young players in the region. Maila, who is a former chairperson of an SAB league club, encouraged business owners to support youth soccer development with donations. The donation from Mopani Times comes during the country’s youth month celebrations. The games will take place at the Kgapane local ground from 08h00 on Friday.
