SAFA Coaching Instructor and Under 20 National Team Coach Raymond Mdaka.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) has announced the dates for the CAF D license coaching program, which will be held at Tivumbeni College in Nkowankowa Township.
The course is scheduled for Friday, June 14th, through Monday, June 17th. Aspirant coaches are required to register for the four-day coaching course. The registration fee is R1500 for LFA and regional teams, while women coaches pay a reduced amount of R1000.
Coaches from non-Mopani teams are charged R3000. This coaching course is designed to align with the new SAFA rules, which state that only coaches with a CAF C license will be allowed to sit on the bench in the Hollywood bets men’s league and Hollywood bets women’s Super League starting from the 2024/2025 season.
The rules also apply to the Premier Soccer League and National First Division teams, where coaches are required to hold a CAF A or B license to coach in the PSL, and a minimum of a CAF C license to coach in the ABC Motsepe League. Coaches interested in registering for the course must submit their application forms, proof of payment, medical report, and a letter from their respective clubs to either [email protected] or [email protected]. For more information, interested coaches can reach out to Mr. Mongwe at cell 0836952048.
