Last weekend, the CAF D license coaching course, organized by the South African Football Association (SAFA) in Mopani, faced an unexpected postponement, causing disappointment among registered coaches.
This was attributed to a significant number of coaches being unable to attend due to work-related challenges.
SAFA Mopani intends to reformat the course from an eight consecutive days structure to either the traditional 3-2-2-1 or 2-2-2-2 format to accommodate all participants.
The first format, which is widely favoured by most associations, represents a schedule where the course will commence on Friday to Sunday in its first week, followed by sessions on the second weekend, and concluding during the final weekend.
This schedule will be implemented in the Eastern Cape in September during the hosting of their CAF D License course at Nelson Mandela University by their regional association. Ramphao has mentioned that an announcement regarding the upcoming course date will be made shortly.
