Former Premier Soccer League goalkeeper Lethabo Ramaphoko, who previously played for Marumo Gallants, is now a free agent.
The 25-year-old goalkeeper finished his three-year contract with the club at the end of the previous season and has obtained clearance from the club after resolving prior contractual disputes.
A product of TES Development (formerly known as Tshepo Academy) in Kgapane Township, Lethabo joined Gallants on a three-year contract during the 2022/23 PSL season at the age of 23.
Before that, he played as a regular for the ABC Motsepe league side, Olisda’s FC. During his time with Gallants, Lethabo was a reserve goalkeeper and gained substantial game time as a first-choice goalkeeper for their DDC team. He served as a reserve goalkeeper for experienced players such as Zimbabwean-born Washington Arubi and the current Gallants goalkeeper, King Ndlovu, in the senior team.
Now looking for opportunities with a professional team for the upcoming season, Lethabo, who is commonly referred to by the moniker of current PSL side Magezi’s Zimbabwean-born goalkeeper, Elvis Chipezeze, prefers playing in the National First Division.
However, he remains open to considering promising contract offers from ambitious ABC Motsepe league sides. At 25 years of age, Lethabo would be a valuable addition to any aspiring team.
