The players of Giyani Happy Boys have raised concerns regarding the challenges they have encountered in obtaining their clearances from the club’s management. They have shared their dissatisfaction with the responsiveness and availability of the team manager, Mr. Mabasa. According to the players, their attempts to secure their clearances were met with unresponsiveness and Mr. Mabasa was often absent from the club’s offices. They also reported difficulties in establishing communication with him through phone calls and WhatsApp.

In response, the management has officially addressed these concerns, refuting the rumors and asserting that they have made concerted efforts to provide clearances to all former players.

The management clarified that two former players have already received their clearances from the club. They also provided explanations for the delays, citing instances where players requested their clearances during the playoff period and were advised to await the appropriate timing.

Additionally, the management highlighted outstanding club equipment, such as traveling kits that had not been returned, as a reason for some players’ delayed clearances.

As for the allegations regarding communication issues, Mr. Mabasa has stated that his phone was consistently operational for both professional and personal purposes. Both the club’s management and Mr. Mabasa underscored the accessibility of the club offices for players to secure their clearances.

The resolution of these concerns is crucial as the new season approaches, and it remains to be seen whether all players will receive their clearances in a timely manner.
