The Frank Moloto Development League in Kgapane has resumed league activities after a three-month hiatus attributed to challenges in player registration.
All eight matches were held at Medingen Sports Ground, starting with the under-13 category. TES Development, formerly known as Tshepo Academy, maintained their position at the top of the league table with a convincing 4-1 victory over hosts Mamkhize.
TES leads the league table with nine points from three matches, closely followed by Mashona Development, trailing only by goal difference.
In the under-15 category, the dominant Mokwasele Young Killers secured their lead with a narrow 1-0 win against the resilient Ramohlala Development team, while Mashona moved to second position following their outstanding performance, defeating Life Development 7-3 to secure three valuable points after drawing 0-0 with Mamkhize in their previous league game.
Their leading striker, Kgaogelo Letsoalo, scored five goals, while talented midfielder Tumiso Malatji scored a brace from two remarkable free kicks.
This weekend, league matches are scheduled to take place at Malematja Sports Ground.
