Phalaborwa United, a new soccer team from Makhushane in Phalaborwa , is set to make their debut in Mopani Regional League after the successful acquisition of Phalaborwa Classic FC status .
This marks a significant milestone for the community of Makhushane , who will get to watch their home team compete in this prestigious league.
The formation of Phalaborwa has generated excitement and anticipation, promising to bring more competitive soccer and community spirit to the area.
The club’s Director Tebogo Masia confirmed the purchase, along with the club’s mandate ahead of the new season.
“Regional league is one step below ABC Motsepe league.It takes single playoffs to reach the level of ABC Motsepe League and we are confident that we have a good squad to conquer at this level, come end of the season .
When asked whether they would be able to absorb the Hollywoodbets Regional League heat with their current squad, Masia said that they had nothing to fear.
“We have assembled a very good squad for Both Local tournaments and Regional League matches, We remain committed to development of Phalaborwa and football in our local area,” he added.
