Like a battle cry, ululations resonated across Motsinoni village as community members rejoiced when the Mayor of Greater Letaba Municipality, Dagma Mamanyoha officially handed over Motsinoni street pavement, on Wednesday.
Councillors, project engineers, municipal officials and community members gathered to witness the cutting of the ribbon by the Mayor, who expressed his gratitude to the community for their patience and support during the construction process.
Motsinoni Pavement was lauded by the community and traditional leaders for its excellence and fulfilment. The project was recently completed, and the Mamanyoga handed it over to the community.
“This is one of the projects I committed to during my first 100 days in office. I am delighted to present it to the Motsinoni community today, and I am pleased that you are satisfied with the job done. This is one of many projects on which we take satisfaction in our work quality and completeness,” remarked Mamanyoga.
The Mayor Mamanyoga further stressed that the completion of the pavement was another indicator that the government delivers and that it cares for its own citizens.
Thibeni and Ramudumo were the two additional projects visited by the delegation. The projects are moving along smoothly, with minimal hiccups. Mamanyoga insisted on seeing changes within the next week.
