Get ready for an electrifying weekend as the ABC Motsepe League takes centre stage at Nkowankowa Stadium with an exciting double-header.

The first match will feature Tzaneen United facing off against Black Leopards, starting at noon while the second match will see Peace Khosa’s Nkowankowa Continental take on the formidable Selwane White Vultures, beginning at 3:00 PM.

In the opening match at noon, all eyes will be on Black Leopards, renowned for their exceptional ball-playing skills in Stream A. Teams that have faced them have praised their ability to rotate the ball with both skill and patience.

United Artist owner and coach Thikhedzo Mashau, whose team drew 3-3 with Leopards last week at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium, commended their style of play.

He noted that during the match against Leopards, his team had only three throw-ins, which underscored how the ball was predominantly played in the field, in contrast to other teams that often rely on long balls. This sentiment was echoed by former Winnerspark coach Stanley Kgatla, who acknowledged the Leopards’ impressive performance despite his own team’s 1-0 victory.

Meanwhile, Tzaneen United, having recently introduced a new coach, will look to regain their winning momentum after suffering a 3-2 defeat to the White Vultures last weekend.

The match between Nkowankowa Continental and the Vultures is also expected to be thrilling. A tactical showdown is in store due to the high quality of both teams’ technical staff.

Coach Peace Khosa of Continental is well known for his tactical brilliance, a quality that was evident during his successful season at Tzaneen United, where the team lost only one match. His counterpart at Selwane White Vultures, Musa Nkondo, along with assistant Lufuno Ndou, are also highly regarded coaches capable of orchestrating an upset victory.

Key players to watch in both matches include the speedy striker William Bopape for Continental, top midfielder Carreca Nkondo for the Vultures, and Thulani Mbonani for Tzaneen United. These three players are expected to play crucial roles in leading their teams to victory.

Nkowankowa Continental striker William Bopape is expected to lead his side to victory on Saturday.
