Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup FC has embarked on an ambitious overhaul of their team following a lacklustre start to their inaugural ABC Motsepe League season.
The club is leaving no stone unturned in its pursuit of quality reinforcements, with Chris Selowa commonly known as Erasmus from Josy United reportedly atop their wish list.
Erasmus’s impending arrival promises to inject vital experience into Syrup’s squad, which has struggled to find its footing in the league. The team’s seasoned players have faced significant challenges, and Erasmus’s addition will provide a much-needed boost.
Team manager Thabo Moremi confirmed the club’s efforts to bolster its squad. “We have released some players and intend to bring in quality players who can match the ABC Motsepe standard,” he said. While Moremi neither confirmed nor denied Erasmus’s signing, he assured that management is finalizing new talent acquisitions.
