Phalaborwa United new head coach, Timmy Mashele.
In a bid to strengthen their technical department and boost their promotion aspirations, Mopani Regional League outfit Phalaborwa United has appointed seasoned coach Timmy Mashele as their new head coach.
Mashele takes over the reins from Mashudu Malesa, who has been reassigned to assistant coach.
The appointment comes at a critical juncture, following Phalaborwa United’s exit from the Nedbank Cup inter-regional playoffs. Unfettered by this setback, the club is confident that Mashele’s wealth of experience and expertise will propel them towards achieving their goal of promotion to the ABC Motsepe League.
Although Mashele’s previous tenure at Giyani Happy Boys culminated in relegation from the ABC Motsepe League, his impressive track record in the league has solidified his reputation as a top coach in the Mopani region.
Speaking on his appointment, Mashele expressed his enthusiasm and optimism. “I’m excited to take on this challenge,” he said. “I believe we have talented players who can achieve success. I look forward to working with them and helping them fulfil their ambitions.”
With Mashele at the helm, Phalaborwa United is poised to mount a strong challenge for promotion. His extensive experience and local knowledge will undoubtedly add value to the team. As the club embarks on this new chapter, fans and supporters will be eagerly watching to see how Mashele’s leadership shapes the team’s future.
