MOKGOLA TRANSFERS WINNERSPARK OWNERSHIP TO DAGALO AND NGOBENI

Former Winnerspark boss Robert Mokgola has officially passed the reins of the team to its new owners, Ramuthaka Dagalo and Aubrey Ngobeni.
The handover event took place at Mokgola’s residence in Bellevue Village last Tuesday, marking a significant milestone for the club. With the team now fully under the control of Dagalo and Ngobeni, it is set to relocate to Mukondeni Village in Venda, effectively dispelling any doubts about Mokgola’s involvement in the management following the sale. Notably, Xikokwana Stadium in Giyani will remain the club’s home ground.
Under the new management, contracts with players and the technical team have been renegotiated, indicating a proactive approach to team dynamics. This presents an exciting challenge in terms of salaries, especially given Mokgola’s history of offering competitive compensation in the second division, which is a rarity among clubs. As they prepare for their final game of the year this weekend, it will be interesting to see if the new management can secure their current players or if they will look to recruit fresh talent during the upcoming transfer window in January.
