New Josy United coach, Nil Twala is confident that his team will successfully defend their league title and participate in the Champ of Champs for the fourth consecutive season, despite being moved to a new stream.

Twala made this statement following his team’s 1-0 victory against Hlahla Northern Bucs at home in Jamela Sports Ground last weekend.

Josy United, which dominated the Baobab Stream of the Hollywoodbets League for three consecutive seasons, has been moved to the Molototsi Stream this year.

This change was made to adjust for Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup, which was promoted to the ABC Motsepe League. Many soccer pundits and critics have predicted that Josy’s dominance may come to an end, citing the Molototsi Stream as stronger than Baobab. They pointed to formidable teams such as Nkuri Fast Move, Nkomo Eleven Experience, and the financially stable Hlahla Northern Bucs as potential challenges.

However, after three matches, Josy United has managed to maintain their previous success, winning all three games, including the showdown against Hlahla Northern Bucs. Coach Twala noted that with the January transfer window approaching, the team plans to register additional talented players to strengthen their lineup. “We will register new talent in January, and I guarantee we will be unstoppable. I assure you that if I am still the coach of this team by the end of the season, we will surely reach the playoffs,” he stated.

Currently, Josy United leads the Molototsi Stream league standings with 9 points from three games, followed by Nkuri Fast Move with 7 points, and Hlahla Northern Bucs with 6 points, both also from three matches. It remains to be seen if theJamela-basedd side will be able to maintain their form throughout the season.
