Sandra Malatji, a talented midfielder from the- Oaks village in Maruleng, has been honored as Super Strikers Ladies FC’s Best Midfielder of the Season. This prestigious award recognizes Malatji’s outstanding performance, which has been instrumental in the team’s success this season.
The award was presented to Malatji at a ceremony held at Fishmonger Dos Amigos in Polokwane on Saturday, November 30.
Malatji expressed her gratitude to her supporters, stating: “I would like to thank and appreciate all the people who supported me. Your love and encouragement gave me the opportunity to not give up in life, and I am proud to have represented you well.”
Super Strikers Ladies FC competes in the Mpumalanga Sasol Women’s League and made a notable appearance in the National Playoffs this past season, marking their first appearance in the playoffs. Although they did not advance to the semi-finals, the team’s achievements demonstrate their growth and potential in the league.
