Nkowankowa Continental coach, Peace Khosa, will be back on the bench this Saturday after successfully completing his CAF B License coaching course.

The ambitious coach is preparing his side for a stern test against a star-studded Phalaborwa United in the first game of the Nedbank Cup preliminary round, set to take place at Nkowankowa Stadium.

Phalaborwa United, who were promoted to the ABC Motsepe League last season, come into the game with an experienced squad and confidence after a 1-0 victory over arch-rivals Selwane White Vultures two weeks ago, which secured their place in the second stage of the competition.

Speaking ahead of the match, Khosa expressed confidence in his team, saying, “We had a good pre-season and the boys are ready. We are going to display good football on the day.”

Khosa also revealed that he will be fielding an under-23 side, stating, “I’m building champions.” His focus on nurturing young talent reflects Continental’s long-term vision of developing the next generation of soccer stars while remaining competitive in one of South Africa’s toughest divisions.

Fans at Nkowankowa Stadium can expect an exciting clash as Continental looks to make a mark in the prestigious Nedbank Cup, proving that youth and strategy can compete with experience and star power.
