ABC Motsepe League Stream A outfit Phalaborwa United have officially unveiled their new FUTPRO home kit ahead of the 2026/27 Limpopo ABC Motsepe League season, signalling the club’s ambition to challenge for promotion.

The unveiling featured several first-team players, including one of the club’s marquee signings, attacking midfielder Lethabo “Keiter” Mathaba, who has returned home after spending two seasons in the Rwandan Premier Soccer League.

Mathaba returns to South African football following his spell with Musanze FC in Rwanda’s top flight. The former Black Leopards playmaker secured a two-year move to the East African club in August 2023 after “Lidoda Duvha” opted not to renew his contract.

Now back in Limpopo, the experienced midfielder is expected to play a key role in Phalaborwa United’s quest to secure promotion from the ABC Motsepe League. His creativity, experience and attacking qualities are expected to strengthen a squad determined to compete at the top of Stream A this season.

The club has also strengthened its technical team with the appointment of experienced coach Abel Makhubele. The former Black Leopards coach and manager brings a wealth of experience to Phalaborwa United and will be tasked with leading the club’s promotion campaign. With a refreshed look, high-profile additions on and off the field, and renewed optimism within the camp, Phalaborwa United will be hoping their new FUTPRO home kit marks the beginning of a successful season as they pursue a place in the national promotional playoffs
