Ex Winnerspark coach Shakes Manyakalla says he enjoys working away from his home in the Free State Province and will be happy to find another coaching job outside.

The Botshabelo born mentor who was sacked by Winnerspark after just six games is currently at home seating with a possibility of a job offer from his previous ABC Motsepe league side Mathaithai

The Free State ABC Motsepe league stream B runners-up are currently without a coach and are awaiting the verdict of their outstanding cases against the log leaders Mangaung Unite who allegedly used a defaulter in most of their league games.

Should Mangaung  lose the case, Mathaithai could be crowned stream champs and appoint Manyakalla as their new coach. Manyakalla’s first job as a coach in Limpopo was with Hollywood bets side Jozy United with whom he won R100 000 General Skhokho tournament in the off-season but left them to join their rivals and ABC Motsepe league side Winnerspark.

The former Gezani Assernal and National First Division side City Sharks player has a good track record in second division football. He made a name for himself as a coach with his ABC Motsepe league home side Mathaithai FC, with whom he qualified for the Nedbank Cup last 16.

He also coached Bloemfontain Celtics Colts and Real Madrid between the years 2004 and 2022. His coaching qualifications include the South African Football Coaches Association (SAFCA) coaching certificate, which qualifies him to develop structures and ideals for the proper development of world-class players within a team structure.

He was instructed in the local football playing philosophy by the late former director of football in South Africa, Ted Dumitru. At Winnerspark, Manyakalla won three games and lost three before he was released. His best victories were against top clubs such as Emmanuel and Giyani Happy Boys, whom he beat 2-1 and 3-0, respectively. He lost 3-1 in his first game against Munaca, 4-2 against Vondwe and 1-0 against Artist.
