Last season playoff drama between SAFA Capricorn Regional clubs Lebashe Academy and Mohlabile seems to be far from being over.
The two clubs who were fighting to represent their region in the then SAB inter-regional playoffs have not taken part in this season’s Hollywood bets league. Lebashe head coach Kedibone Mabotja said his side decided not to participate in the league this season because their matter is still in court and are awaiting the outcome.
No one from Mohlabile was available for comment. However their regional president Jack Mogashoa confirmed the two sides exclusion from the league this season and reiterated that his association did not have option but to continue with the league activities without them.
The league is currently nearing the end with only four games left before the season ends. Mogashoa said the two clubs statuses were suspended until further notice. Some of Lebashe players joined ABC Motsepe league side Musina United in a bid to save their status.
