Mamanyoha Stadium, located in Mamanyoha Village, has received official approval from the South African Football Association (SAFA) in Limpopo to host ABC Motsepe League matches.

This decision follows the determination that Kgapane Stadium is unsuitable due to its poor condition. Mamanyoha Stadium will now serve as the home ground for Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup.

This development is particularly encouraging for the Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup team and its loyal fan base, who have faced significant challenges traveling to their previous home ground at Westfalia Sports Ground.

Team Manager Thabo Moremi noted that the considerable distance and lack of adequate grandstand facilities at Westfalia led to a decrease in spectator support.

Additionally, the limited pitch size contributed to the team’s unfortunate record of two losses and one draw in their three home games.

Team Owner Brown Moremi expressed enthusiasm about local supporters now having the opportunity to watch their team in a more accessible venue. Mamanyoha Stadium is conveniently located within walking distance for residents of Thlothlokwe, Mamanyoha, Taulume, Mawa Block 8, and Block 9. Supporters from neighbouring villages, such as Rampepe, Mohokone, Mokwakwaila, Maekgwe, and Rajeke, will also benefit from significantly shorter travel distances.

Thlothlokwe Golden Syrup is set to make its debut at Mamanyoha Stadium this Sunday, where they will compete against the formidable United Artists team at 15:00.
