Happening on the 14th of December 2024 in the Mercedes Benz Showroom at Mercurius Motors in Tzaneen, Red Promotions together with their event partners brings the first-ever recorded Fashion Week in Limpopo.
Tzaneen Fashion Week as a trendsetting showcase of high-end fashion explores the finest intricate designs of some of Limpopo’s creative designers – this fashion exploration sets precedents in its unique showcase of vetted fashion collections that are ready for purchase.
In conversation with Thabang Kevin Mabale, a regional coordinator of the Tzaneen Fashion Week, he highlighted the need for convenience in the fashion space: “… Limpopo has some of the finest talents in the fashion space yet lack of properly curated showcases in the province leaves consumers at a great disadvantage in accessing finest fashion intricacies – especially trendy ones. Not repudiating the impact of fast fashion in the local economy, Tzaneen Fashion Week promotes slow fashion by advocating for the accessibility of quality designs of our local fashion designers. We simply want to make sure that lovers of quality clothes access them with ease.”
Tzaneen Fashion Week extensively seeks to build Tzaneen into a fashion capital. “We are calling all local businesses, retail houses and government departments and parties that share similar interest to join us in fashion movement”, Thabang said.
