TS Galaxy have strengthened their squad ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership season with the signing of experienced right-back Edson Khumalo.
The 27-year-old defender from Nkowankowa Township in Tzaneen joins the Rockets after his stint with Marumo Gallants, bringing top-flight experience and a wealth of football knowledge to the club.
Khumalo’s football journey began at local side Nkowankowa Barcelona, where he developed his game between the ages of 12 and 17 before earning a move to the Wits junior academy.
He progressed through the Wits youth structures before taking his career abroad to Portugal, where he gained valuable experience in European football.
After returning to South Africa, Khumalo signed for Cape Town All Stars, where his impressive performances paved the way for a move to Marumo Gallants in the Betway Premiership.
His latest switch to TS Galaxy marks another important chapter in a career built on hard work, consistency and determination.
The attacking right-back will be hoping to make an immediate impact as TS Galaxy prepare for the new campaign, with the club looking to compete strongly in the Premiership.
