It will be critical times for most of the teams in the ABC Motsepe league this weekend as they desperately push towards the finishing line.
Top of the table side Mpheni Home Defenders from Vhembe will need all their might to defeat desperate Winnerspark FC in their slaughter house at Westfalia ground this Saturday to put the SAFA ABC Motsepe league stream A championship to bed.
Winnerspark at the other hand will be fighting for their lives to attain at least a draw to salvage their ABC Motsepe league status following their 1-0 defeat to rejuvenated Emmanuel FC last weekend.
Two bottom of the log sides Mikhado and Musina United who have two games in hand with twelve and thirteen points respectively needs only six points to overtake the Winnerspark side that never lost a game in their home ground this season.
Mpheni is currently leading the league log with 36 points from 13 games followed by title contenders Giyani Happy Boys who are only three points adrift with two games left. Should Mpheni beat desperate Winnerspark they will only need a draw at home in Vhembe against Happy Boys in their next match to be crowned winners with a game to spare.
This means they might not need to win their pending case against relegation threatened Mikhado FC which is still awaiting the delayed verdict by SAFA disciplinary committee.
Mikhado failed to honour their away game to Venda due to the alleged club bus accident in the day of the match. Should Mpheni lose their two games to Winnerspark and Giyani Happy Boys then they will have to rely on a favourable verdict as a lifeline.
