New AmaTuks defender, Isaac Masia.
Former Maritzburg United defender, Isaac Masia says he is ready to assist his new National First Division side University of Pretoria qualify for the playoffs this season if given a chance to play.
The former Black Leopard captain hasn’t had enough game time since he joined “AmaTuks” this season from Premier soccer league side Maritzburg United FC.
He was released by the Kwazulu/Natal based side together with his nine other big name teammates such as Lucky Baloyi and Bongani Seema when coach John Maduka was replaced by Fadlu Davids.
At AmaTuks, the former Black Leopard skipper played only two games thus far. However, with recent reports of injury to one of their central defenders, Masia could be well set to play the remaining nine games for Amatuks. The 28 year old experienced defender’s ability to score from set play could bring extra edge to the Tuks attacking impetus if he is afforded a chance to play. He was part of the Black Leopard team that gained promotion to the Premier Soccer League in the 2018/2019 season.
