The consistently professional services of one of the leading security companies in South Africa with regard to excellent security services, George B security, has eventually gained international recognition and confidence of the government of the United Republic of Tanzania.

The east African country sent their best and trusted security officials to George B security here in South Africa to undergo a K9 security training with the intention of reinforcing security forces in their country particularly in their airports and government premises.

A total of about twenty-two delegates are currently being trained in Nkowankowa on how to work with dogs to curb crimes such as drug smuggling, discovering explosives, locating missing people, finding crime scene evidence and catching criminals.

According to George B security spokesperson Mishack Bamuza who is also a qualified dog handler trainer, the training will last for only one month. “It takes just one month to do proper basic training on dog handling and breeding beginning with theory then practical. Our job is to teach them to understand dog behaviour and to handle, command and to be able to teach dogs to collaborate with them,” he said.

“The training will be completed in April and these first batch of delegates will travel back to their country with the same dogs they were training with. However with the kind of training they are receiving from George B they will be able to breed and train their own dogs in their country,” he added.

The delegates received a warm welcome from the Greater Tzaneen Municipality Mayor, Councillor Gerson Molapisane who did not hesitate to mention the pivotal role Tanzania played in South Africa’s liberation struggle.
