ABC Motsepe League team owners Robert Mokgola of Winnerspark and Thinus Mafologela of Tzaneen United FC have vowed to fire most of their last season players and coaches to fortify their teams for the new season.
This after Winnerspark’s narrowly escaped from the relegation zone this season. They finished fifth on the eight team league log with only four wins in sixteen games while Tzaneen united who also finished in the same position in the league log won only five games in sixteen games in their nine teams’ stream.
According to Mr Mokgola only five players will remain from the current Winnerspark team and a new coach will be hired in the new season. “I am removing most of the players I had this season and I will remain with only five. I need new good players for the new season” he said
The Tzaneen United Owner said he had given the players who promoted the team to the SAB league a chance to prove themselves in a higher level but some of them disappointed him. “Last season I chose to reward the players who gave us the status with a chance to display their talent but now I need experience. Therefore I am bringing in seven new National First Division players to join the two experienced players in our disposal. I am also bringing a new coach. At this level we need experience” he said.
Both the two owners are aiming to win the league this coming season.
