The legendary Sekgosese based Matsena Giant Killers FC could make a return to the second division league in the new season.
This was confirmed by team owner, Alpheus Matsena. Matsena says he will not hesitate to pay for the ABC Motsepe league status should teams decide to sell. “My initial plan was to win the SAB league this season to qualify for Champ of Champs and the Provincial playoffs but we failed. Therefore, I seriously want to buy the ABC Motsepe league status for the new season” he said.
Matsena was the first team in the Sekgosese area to own the second and First Division status in the past years. However, With rumours that relegated Black Leopards might buy NFD status in the new season it will not be a surprise if they can obtain their status.
