After failing to secure a place in the SAB provincial promotional playoffs this soccer season Josy United is now ready to purchase ABC Motsepe League status. The Jamela based side has proved to be too good for the local SAB league baobab stream football, winning it twice in two consecutive seasons. Last season they only lost once in 17 games.

Club boss Joseph “Josy” Machethe confirmed that he is now looking for the ABC Motsepe league status. “We have been making serious efforts to get the status but so far nothing has come through. Most of the clubs I have approached are selling their statuses for an exorbitant amount of money. But we keep looking” he said.

With rumours that Black Leopards bought the National First Division status Josy United must be lucky to strike a good deal with their management. Another local club reported to be looking for second division status is Matsena Giant Killers.

The legendary Sekgosese based club finished 5th in the Baobab league stream last  season. Team boss Alpheus Matsena said his team was ready to make a come back to a more competitive ABC Motsepe league. Should the two clubs succeed in their endeavors soccer fans in Bolobedu and Sekgosese will be treated to a festival of second division league football every weekend in the new season.

The two clubs will join another legendary team in Winnerspark who are already campaigning  in the ABC Motsepe league.
