The South African Football Association (SAFA) Provincial chairperson Jack Maluleke says Bolobedu based Coach Seshoka Ramohale will be allowed to do his CAF D License Coaching course despite him being physically challenged.
Maluleke was responding to Ramohale’s plea to be allowed to do the coaching license qualification following his surprise return to football coaching from a partial stroke attack, which affected his hand and foot.
“I saw the message, and i was moved. I will speak to the guys so that we can help him because we are currently busy working on doing coaching courses, ” he said. “We cannot turn our back on him because of his situation. He is already involved in the game. There was another man from Lephalale known as “Baggio” whose two legs were amputated, but they were able to help him get his coaching course because he knew football. Ramohale will be placed in the same category as “Baggio.” They will help him, ” Maluleke added.
After qualifying, as a physically challenged coach, we will sometimes add him to our provincial teams as part of the technical team, “he concluded.
Ramohale is currently coaching Bellevue All Stars but could be joining a local Hollywood bets club soon if things go according to plan.
The talented mentor made a name for himself in 2005/6 when he promoted Kgapane Young Stars to the then Vodacom league. He also coached his home side, Winnerspark.
