The new Winnerspark coach Isaac “wacko” Senyolo has successfully ended his team’s home ground winless voodoo with a hard fought 2-1 victory over Madritas at home in WestFalia ground last Saturday.

The Bolobedu based side has been struggling to win a league game at home this season and decided to relocate to Giyani stadium as an alternative home ground to ease the voodoo. However their efforts were thwarted by two losses against Vondwe X1 Bullets and United Artist in the same venue.

The turn of events occurred following a brave decision by the team management to return to Westfalia as their home ground and to change the coaching personnel. They replaced coach Shakes Manyakalla with their legend Isaac “wacko” Senyolo and took the Madritas game to Westfalia. The move proved pivotal to their progress as for the first time in many games Winnerspark played a home game with impetus, precision and dominance. Even when their opponents scored first in the game they never panicked. They remained calm and continued playing their normal brand of football and finally found the equalizer towards the end of the second half by winger Mitaaifani Mudau.

Substitute Thabiso Manyini scored for them midway through the second half with a brilliant goal from the edge of the big box. The visitors tried their best to equalize but the Winnerspark back four led by captain Thabiso “Roger” Maunatlala was as solid as a rock. The victory elevated Winnerspark to fourth position with 17 points, one behind both the second and third placed Vondwe and Emmanuel who are at 18 points each. This Saturday Winnerspark will be aiming for revenge in their away game to United Artist who recently beat them 1-0 at Giyani stadium. The game will be held at Malamulele stadium at 15h00.
