The new Winnerspark coach Ludwick “Chucks” Raselaya had a bad start last Saturday when his side lost 4-1 to Vondwe X1 Bullets in his debut game Mukonde ground .
“Chucks” took charge of the Bellevue based side last week following coach Isaac “Wacko ” Senyolo’s resignation. He joined Winnerspark from bottom of the log side Musina United after failing to make an impact at The Dolphins.
Many soccer lovers know him as head coach of the Hollywoodbets side Lebashe Academy. Vondwe started their game like a house on fire and scored three swift goals within the first 15 minutes of the game.
They dominated the first half while Winnerspark struggled to break their back four. However, the Bellevue based side came strongly in the second half and managed to score a consolation goal.
Vondwe sealed the game with the fourth goal and moved up to position three on the log standings. Chucks” pointed to his side’s defensive errors and the unplayable Mukonde field at Vondwe as causes for defeat.
He added that it was not possible for him to make changes to the way the team play since it is already too late in the season. They are left with only two games before the season closes.
Winnerspark host top of the log side Mpheni Defenders at home in Westfalia ground this Saturday and will be hoping to avenge their 3-1 first round defeat.
