Emmanuel FC team that will face Vondwe X1 Bullets this Saturday in a do or die affair
Giyani based side Emmanuel FC’s title race could end this weekend if they fail to win their game against third placed Vondwe X1 Bullets at their home ground in Malamulele stadium.
This following their disastrous 1-0 loss to Maruleng Celtics on Tuesday in a replay match at Nkowankowa stadium. The Musa Nkondo coached side needed to win the game at all costs against Celtics to reduce log leaders Mpheni Defenders’s four points lead, however they failed dismally.
It was their failure to deal with the psychological demands of the game that led to a disastrous performance and an unwarranted defeat. However against Vondwe they cannot afford to make mistakes.
They desperately need to avoid a draw or a loss to keep their race intact. Nevertheless, their fate is very much dependent upon Mpheni’s performance against inconsistent Winnerspark this Saturday.
Victory for Mpheni will be the end of Emmanuel’s title race while a draw could resuscitate it should the Giyani based side beat Vondwe.
