Emmanuel FC head Coach Musa Nkondo says he is weary of having to face his 19 year old son Carreca Nkondo this weekend.
Emmanuel face Carreca’s Vondwe X1 Bullets at home in Malamulele stadium in a do or die affair this Saturday. The Giyani based side need to win the game to keep their title hopes alive.
Nkondo said his son is one of the most dangerous players at Vondwe. “My son is very dangerous in the midfield. He plays a neat one touch two touch football and hardly loses the ball” he said. “
Last weekend, he destroyed Winnerspark with his defense splitting passes and gave three assists within ten minutes,” he added. However, the experienced former Vondwe coach promised to work with his Emmanuel players to stop his son. “I know he will work hard in the game to try to destroy us, but my players will stop him,” he continued.
Carreca was trained and developed by his legendary father since he was young. He was a member of the Hollywood bets league side Josy United during his father’s tenure but later moved with him to Vondwe at the beginning of the new season.
Many soccer lovers were taken aback by his decision to stay at Vondwe even after his father made a lucrative move to Emmanuel. The talented player has since established himself in the Venda based side as a key player and a fan favorite. His father divulged that the young attacking midfielder has already received offers from the Nation First Division.
