Winnerspark Executive Robert Mokgola has officially announced that the club is no longer for sale.
Earlier speculations about the club being up for sale due to financial challenges have been dispelled, with Mokgola confirming that, following unsuccessful attempts to find a buyer, the club has chosen to shift its focus towards the upcoming season.
Preseason preparations have commenced, with the team actively recruiting new players, predominantly from the Gauteng Province, in efforts to fortify the squad. Head coach Ludwick “Chucks” Raselaya has verified the enlistment of seasoned players to enhance the team, in addition to the retention of key players from the previous year, which includes captain Thabiso “Roger” Maunatlala, “Katsande” Ndlovu, Koporal Moatli, and the duo from KwaZulu-Natal, Siyabonga Hlabisa and goalkeeper Sthembiso Miya.
