The Impala Park was the place to be on Saturday, during the main event of the Marula Festival Reloaded .

The Festival saw thousands of fans from Phalaborwa, across the province and the country flock to the Impala Park Stadium to enjoy performances by their favourite artists and DJs.

The purpose of the annual event is to promote the rich and diverse cultural heritage and to deepen social cohesion and national identity.

Beyond this, the festival demonstrates and exposes the artistic skills of local, regional and international musical artists, thereby expanding their market.

This is in line with the vision to ensure that arts and culture contribute to economic growth and the livelihoods of the people of the country and Limpopo in particular.

The festival commenced on a highly energetic and enthusiastic note, boasting an impressive and diverse entertainment lineup that showcased a wide range of talented artists, including Zonke, Benjamin Dube, Makhadzi, Daliwonga, Zee Nxumalo, Shebeshxt, Simmy, Hennie Shandesh, Miss Hilary, Kharishma, King Monada, Pleasure Tsa Manyalo, Benny Mayengani, Lufuno Dagada, Lura B, Mr. Noise Ses Perpi, Martha Mash, Mphoza Mashabela, King Bash, Sweeto & Navel, Fanzisoul, Rhino, Khuthi, and B.K the DJ, collectively catering to the varied musical preferences of the attendees and ensuring a memorable experience for all.

The festival has been hosted on an annual basis from 2006 and continues to celebrate South Africa’s diverse cultures and bring people together.
