Josy United head coach Neil Thwala is refusing to give up in the intense race for the Hollywoodbets League Molototsi Stream title.
He urges both players and supporters to keep believing as the season approaches its thrilling conclusion.
Currently, Josy United sits second in the standings, tied on 36 points with the top team, Hlahla Northern Bucks, who have a slight edge due to a game in hand. Third-placed Nkuri Fast Move is not far behind with 33 points and also has a game in hand, making the final stretch of fixtures crucial for all top contenders.
Despite the challenges, Thwala remains defiant and optimistic. “We have to soldier on,” he stated during an energized post-training session. “This is football — anything can happen. God loves us all, and I believe luck will be on our side.”
Josy United has three remaining fixtures, all of which are considered winnable: against Nkomo Eleven Experienced, relegation-threatened Bebs, and Hlaneki Arrow Mountain.
In the first round, Josy secured convincing victories over all three teams: 2-1 against Nkomo, 3-0 versus Bebs, and a 5-2 triumph over Hlaneki.
Meanwhile, Hlahla Northern Bucks face a potentially decisive match against Nkuri Fast Move, which could dramatically change the dynamics of the title race.
Thwala’s rallying call comes at a critical time as he aims to instill belief and determination in his squad. “We’ve been consistent, we’ve been fighting — now it’s time to finish strong. Our fans have been incredible, and we need them more than ever in these final matches,” he emphasized.
With everything still to play for, Josy United’s dream of lifting the Molototsi Stream trophy is far from over. As Thwala puts it, “The race is not for the swift, but for those who endure. Let’s believe.”
Only time will reveal whether Thwala’s faith and fighting spirit will lead Josy United to glory.
