The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) notes the decision of the Polokwane Magistrates’ Court to grant bail of R50 000 to Tsebe Phillimon Moloto (51), a businessman and owner of the Limpopo Anti-Drug Gangsterism and Crime (LADGAC) Rehabilitation Centre.
Moloto faces two counts of malicious damage to property. He also made a brief appearance in the Seshego Magistrates’ Court in connection with one of the charges.
It is alleged that Moloto and the complainant were previously involved in a romantic relationship and were business partners at the LADGAC Rehabilitation Centre in Seshego. Following the breakdown of both their personal and business relationship, the complainant allegedly established her own rehabilitation centre.
The State alleges that, on 28 June 2026, Moloto poured a flammable substance onto a Toyota Hilux belonging to the complainant while it was parked at her parental home in Seshego Zone 3.
In a separate incident, it is further alleged that Moloto set alight a signage board advertising the complainant’s new rehabilitation business in Ladanna.
The matter was postponed to 22 September 2026 for further police investigations.
