A new team in kgapane Township Mphehli Real Rovers FC is looking for players under the age of 23.

The newbie team was established last year in Gauteng Province but has now relocated to Kgapane Township. They will be campaigning in the Holywood Bets third division league, formerly SAB, when the new season starts.

This after they bought Sekgopo based side Sugar Cane status last month. According to their manager and coach Tshepo Sebopetsa, the team is looking for Under-23 players from around Bolobedu who are willing to stay in the club house in Mesopotamia Kgapane Township.

Sebopetsa said the aim of their new club is to gain promotion to the ABC Motsepe league and to promote players. He appealed to the soccer loving people of Kgapane to support the club. Rovers is expected to close the vacuum that existed in the Kgapane world of football due to the demise of their former top teams.

The last time a team from Kgapane made serious progress in an organized league was over a decade ago when Kgapane Young Stars won promotion to the ABC Motsepe league. Interested players can contact Tshepo on cell:  0769683724.
